Just a heads-up for the wannabe self-publishers – be aware of quality issues when using Amazon. I had a batch of early copies of MUITNY that were printed on the wrong paper stock – cream rather than white. I complained and, after some toing and froing, eventually received a full refund. Another small batch were not packed properly (note the lack of protection in the pic) and the books arrived with some crushed pages. Yet another batch had marks on the paper edges. Again, Amazon offered a piddling compensation until I ramped up my request for something better (message me if you need my strategy). So, dear readers, be aware of the need for vigilance with self-publishing. After all, you don’t want sub-standard copies going out to readers, which is why I take care to check each copy on arrival.
